Our Custom Design Process consist of four simple steps to get you from concept to manufacture.
1. Understanding your concept
The first step will be to fully understand your objectives before embarking on the design journey with you. This understanding enables us to explore the potential technical challenges you could face and to evaluate the implications of these.
Ideally we would be involved in your project as early as possible. We’ll make sure we fully understand the commercial and technical requirements of your idea first so that we can deliver a truly innovative engineering solution that will make your design a success and stand out from your competitors.
2. Feasibility
Once we’ve got a thorough understanding of your idea, we'll do a thorough feasibility study to establish whether or not your idea is actually possible. The patented wafer cutting process allows the creation of many different shapes and electrical specification, but some shapes might not be commercially feasible to make. Once we’ve established that it is, we’ll put together a product specification document and assign a specialist project manager to get to work designing your idea. We’ll also be able to give you an accurate idea of how much your product will cost to manufacture so that there are no nasty surprises on the way.
3. Design
It’s essential to consider all the manufacturing implications when designing a prototype. In other words the product must be designed for the manufacturing process.
We are very happy to work with you to identify exactly what kind of custom shape and electrical specification your product will need to ensure that the final product is cost effectively designed for large scale manufacture.

4. Manufacture
All the hard work pays off of when we start manufacturing the products for you to sell. We offer cost effective, high quality products to you on time.
All incoming components will undergo a visual inspection prior to being passed to the relevant department. We take responsibility for buying the components for your product, receive and inspect them to make sure all are present and correct and finally thoroughly test the finished product to make sure it is built to the highest of standards and works exactly as it should.
